Florida Cosmetology 4HR Initial

This course is designed for anyone applying for their Florida Cosmetology license, with a license type of Cosmetologist, Nail Specialist, Facial Specialist, or Full Specialist. Those applying for a Cosmetology license with these license types must complete a 4-hour course on HIV/AIDS in order to be licensed. Our course meets all of the requirement set by the Florida Board of Cosmetology and is easy and convenient to complete.

Simply register for our course and complete the material anywhere that is convenient for you. You will get unlimited attempts to pass the quiz at the end of the course.

After completing the course, you will be able to email yourself your certificate of completion, which you can then print and send in to the board.

3. How do I apply for my cosmetologist license?

In order to obtain your Florida cosmetology license as a Cosmetologist, Nail Specialist, Facial Specialist, or Full Specialist you must take the 4 HR Initial HIV/AIDS course and submit an application along with a fee to the Florida Board of Cosmetology.

It is always best to retain a copy of your certficate of completion for your records at least until the renewal cycle.
